They were scattered abroad

Acts 8:1,4 - KJV And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word
Acts 11:19 - KJV Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only
Acts 1:8 - KJV But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
When Jesus gave His final instruction in Acts 1:8, He declared that His witnesses would go “unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Yet, as Acts 8:1,4 reveals, it was persecution that moved the early Church from Jerusalem into Judea and Samaria. What seemed like tragedy was, in reality, God’s strategy. The scattering of believers became the very means by which the Gospel advanced.
Though there is no known persecution of the Message in Ethiopia, we have witnessed a similar pattern through the sovereign hand of God. Many of the original brothers who first received the Message under our ministry have since been scattered to different regions of the country. What appeared as simple relocation has, in truth, become a divine deployment for the spreading of the Word.

Today, Brother Assegied is in the Oromia region of the capital Addis Ababa, where he recently felt led to pioneer a new work, and Brother Habtom, now in Toronto, Canada, continues to reach out to Ethiopians with the same Message of restoration.
Just as in the days of the apostles, what may seem like separation is actually God’s way of multiplication. The Word must indeed be scattered abroad—for the Gospel was never meant to stay in one place, but to reach every heart that God has ordained to hear it.
Bro Assegied and his wife Sis Meskerem were one of the first who received the message in Ethiopia. He has continued to be diligent in the translation of the Message into his native language, Amharic. He also helped in most of the Hawassa outreaches including interpreting in the outreach videos. (Click to view all of them).
NEEDS
Brother Habtom, one of the first believers in Ethiopia, now carries a burden to reach his Ethiopian community in Toronto with the Message of the Hour. Let us kindly remember this need in prayer, that the Lord may use him mightily to touch many hearts and establish His Word among those of his own people.
Also remember to pray for Bro Assegied who needs to acquire a suitable fellowship place.

Indeed God has been faithful and I trust He will keep you Pastor and the rest of ministers wherever you go preaching
