My Story
Born to a priest in the Anglican Church, I became aware of the scriptures and Jesus Christ from a very early age, giving my life to Him at the age of 10. At 13 years old, the Bishop of our diocese took an interest in me after a thanksgiving speech I was asked to give following our confirmation ceremony, as is customary in the Anglican denomination. He asked my parents to let me follow him to his home at the cathedral.
Over the next two years, I was named the “Diocesan Young Evangelist” because I accompanied the Bishop wherever he went, and he often had me speak for about 15 minutes before he would give his own speech and closing remarks.
Though I knew by then that ministry was my calling, the Lord had different plans for how and where He would use me. After several events transpired, the Lord sovereignly spoke to me in an audible voice during an Anglican church service and led me to a church service of Message believers. It was there that I heard the audible voice again, instructing me to stand up and proclaim that I had received the message and needed baptism.
That same day, I was taken to a lake for water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. At the banks of this lake, I vowed to the Lord to dedicate my life to go near and far to proclaim this End Time Message of restoration.
Pastor Busobozi is married to Sis Rebecca and God has blessed them with 5 children. Elizabeth, Hephzibah, Sharon, Elihu and Timotheus who are 11, 9, 7, 5, and 3 respectively.
Our pastor was wedded on 23rd March 2013 and, by God’s grace, had his honeymoon in Ethiopia. During this time, they were privileged to introduce the message to the country, which has since seen many people embrace it. Upon returning to Uganda, the Lord sovereignly led them to start another work in the suburb of Kampala at the eastern gate of the city. The work here is growing steadily by God’s grace.
