Every Christian knows and acknowledges that Baptism is a very IMPORTANT step in salvation. It is absolutely essential for candidates to be baptized by immersion in the Name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins. ( Acts 2:38)

The Bible clearly states: ”He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved” (Mark 16:16.) UNTO WHAT THEN WERE YOU BAPTISED? [Acts 19:3]​

 

It is evident that sprinkling and infant baptism have no scriptural foundation, but there is another even more prevalent error that has largely gone unchecked for centuries. The great majority of Christian churches baptize using the TITLES of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, believing they are obeying the commandment of Jesus in Matthew 28:19. They overtook the majestic truth expressed by the prophet Isaiah when he foretold that a son would be born who would have one glorious NAME that would embody all titles and manifestations of God.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 

​

The disciples to whom this commission was given had the Revelation that the Name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy spirit was none other than the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Consequently every recorded baptism was done in that Name [Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5] as illustrated below:

CAN ONE BE RE-BAPTIZED?

​

The answer to this is YES, If you were baptized wrongly. Let us turn together to Acts 19:1-6 ...on the 4th verse scripture says “John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, … when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the LORD JESUS. See? How does he become LORD? And when did he ever become CHRIST? In Acts 2:36 …”God hath made that same JESUS whom ye have crucified, both LORD and CHRIST.” When PAUL had laid his hands upon them, the Holy ghost came on them ...there it is! See? Fulfilling Acts 2:37-39.

 

Oh, these dear folks at Ephesus were fine people, and if any one had a right to feel secure, they did. Notice how far they had come. They had come all the way up to accepting the coming Messiah. They were ready for him. But don’t you see that in spite of that they missed Him? He had come and gone. They needed to be re-baptized but this time in the name of the LORD JESUS (note: John never baptized in any name because his baptism was a baptism of repentance). They needed to be filled with the Holy ghost.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

IF you have been baptized in the Name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, God will fill you with His spirit. That is the Word. Acts 19:6 which we read was fulfilling Acts 2:38 ..see? Paul by the Holy Ghost, said exactly what Peter said by the Holy Ghost. What was said CANNOT be changed. It has to be from Pentecost until the last elected one has been baptized.

 

Galatians 1:8,

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

WERE APOSTLE PETER & PAUL WRONG?

​

OH NO! God forbid. The Apostles had a correct Revelation. These Apostles knew what most religious leaders fail to recognize.

​

First: That the NAME of the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the FAMILY NAME of all Christians both in heaven and on earth. (Read Eph 3:15)

​

Second: There is NO OTHER NAME under heaven whereby we must be SAVED only in the Name of JESUS (Acts 4:12)​

​

Third: That the FULLNESS of the Godhead dwelleth BODILY in CHRIST (Col 2:9)

Baptism is from Greek “baptizo” which means to dip

 

And fourth: That Baptism must be performed in the NAME of the CRUCIFIED (Read 1 Cor 1:13). The bible tells us that “whatsoever ye DO in word or in DEED, do ALL in the NAME of the LORD JESUS (Col 3:17). Jesus even taught us that “ REPENTANCE and REMISSION of sins should be preached in HIS NAME, beginning at Jerusalem, unto the uttermost parts of the world.” ( Luke 24:47)

 

WHAT ABOUT MATTHEW 28:19?

The above given scriptures (Book of Acts) are not given to refute Matthew 28:19 where Jesus told the apostles to baptize in the NAME of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost. They merely show HOW the command was interpreted and obeyed by the disciples in the entire bible.

 

AN INVITATION

If you have NOT been baptized in the NAME of the LORD JESUS CHRIST yet, your baptism is WRONG. You have to be baptized AGAIN (Acts 9:1-6) in the NAME of Jesus Christ in order for you to receive the spirit of God.

BE RESTORED back to the original faith that was once delivered to the saints. As Romans 8:30 says, “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” If you are God’s predestined seed, you will recognize this Message to be the truth. And you will not wait long until you are baptized in the NAME of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, Get right with God now while mercy and grace is in your reach. “Obedience is better than sacrifice.” (1 Samuel 15:22)
